Shakespeare
was wrong...the world's a STUDIO. And that studio has been
photographed almost daily by Timothy Bullard since 1974. Born and raised
in Texas, he worked for various newspapers there including the Dallas
Morning News and the Houston Chronicle. While working for these
major dailies, he had the oppurtunity to photograph pro sports teams,
major musicians, celebrities, presidents and paupers. He
always kept his eye into exhibiting artistic photography but didn't
concentrate on it as much until moving to Oregon with his family in
1986. As Photo Director for a the Grants Pass Daily Courier, his
assignments aren't as "razzle-dazzle" as at the metros but the
environment and slower atmosphere has allowed him to concentrate more on
his freelance business and artistic photography with an emphasis on
figure work and the national musicians that have made Grants Pass a hot
spot for performancers appearing at the Rogue Theater. Tim has
started a line of photographic greeting cards and has been published in
newspapers, magazines and books including Chronicle Press AMERICAN
PHOTOGRAPHY: A CENTURY OF IMAGES and continues to
document the world creating images with the help of Shakespeare's
contemporary players.
