Umgebung ab, um diesen ein Gefühl der
Vertrautheit und Sicherheit zu vermitteln
und somit die Vorraussetzung zu schaffen,
damit die Frauen die natürliche Scheu vor
der Kamera verlieren. Auf diese Weise
erschafft Jaak Bellen eindrucksvolle Serien
von erotischen Aktporträts, die nicht nur
authentisch wirken, sondern auch mit einem

I live in Belgium in
a small village, called Wellen. I know there everyone and anything. My
love for photography came late. I was about 21 years old and I worked
already as an employee when I was asked to write local news for a
newspaper. I had to buy a camera. A semi automatic Chinon CE4. It was a
cheap but excellent camara. My first pictures ware a disaster. So I
bought some good books, and started shooting. I learned the most from my
mistakes. Nature was my greatest interest. Landscapes, flowers,
butterflys…. Some years later I got married. My wife was my first
model. Soon we started to build a house. Camera on the hook for several
years. In sping this year I bought a brand new camera. An canon eos 3.
But, when asked, my model said that she was to old and if I would like
to shoot nudity, a had to look for a real model. Which I did. I have my
wife to thank for my hobby. I have no studio. We made together a nice
garden. I worked mostly with my models in the garden. It's a living
background that changes every day, season. Sometimes I photograph the
models in the intemacy of their own home or bedroom. I hope for many
seasons to come along with nice models.
